 Yorkshire Dry Stone Walling Academy Ltd (YDSWA) provides a variety of Dry Stone Walling Training Courses (both outdoor and indoor) for all experience levels from trainees to professional wallers.We also provide professional support for volunteer groups who are considering a Dry Stone Walling Project. We are not for profit organisation setup to encourage training of new and improving dry stone wallers, while promoting the conservation of dry stone walls and working with volunteer groups to improve and maintain existing dry stone walls. As well as providing gentle exercise in the great outdoors, Dry stone walling provides the ultimate example of recycling since if it becomes necessary to move or restore a wall, all the stones may be used again.
